FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The inner opening of the fire pit is either round, square, or rectangular.
If you have a round opening you are going to look at the original or the octagonal. Both of those are going to lend themselves very well to a round opening shape.
If your opening is square or squarish, you are going to look at the original Crossfire Burner. You can use an octagonal, Tree style, or double double tree.

We love our 280,000 BTU fire pit!! Installed it in a 30″ round block fire pit. We have used it down to 30 deg outside and it throws plenty of heat. I calculated that running the fire pit at 2/3 output (which is pretty high) we use about $0.75 per hour of natural gas. The flame that is produced with the oak log set that we purchased is perfect. Everyone comments on how natural it looks. We installed lava rocks as the base.
