Qualities
- Our steel is first sandblasted to remove impurities.
- A primer is used on the entire product, inside and out. This helps prevent rust.
- The product is then baked with highest durability polyester powder.
- The final product is resistant to scratching, rust, and UV fading.
- Rust can occur where there are scratches or dings. Scratches should be promptly cleaned and sealed.
- High salt exposure in coastal regions may require a more consistent maintenance routine.
- Darker finishes retain more UV heat and may become warm to the touch.
Care + Maintenance
- Clean with a mild soap in warm water with a soft towel.
- 1:1 white vinegar and water can be used to remove hard water spots.
- Touch-up kits are available to remove rust and seal scratches.
- Use powder coating protective spray after cleaning to keep steel protected.
- Stubborn scuffs or stains may come off with a magic eraser. Test a small, hidden area first.
- If extreme stains or hard water spots occur, WD-40 has shown to be affective in making your steel look like new. DO NOT USE REGULARLY OR WHEN FIRE PIT IS HOT. WD-40 IS FLAMABLE.
