Warranties, Returns, and Terms of Service
*Attention Residents of Canada: You may be charged additional border fees and taxes when you receive your items. Montana Fire Pits is not responsible for these fees.
*Damage during shipping
- In the unlikely event of shipping damage, please contact us immediately.
- Our damage claim period expires 4 days after delivery.
Please inspect upon delivery by opening the crate prior to the freight carrier leaving and checking for any damage that may have occurred during transport. If damage is visible to the table, please refuse delivery and contact us immediately. Once you have received your product, you have 14 days to inspect and check for damages. If you report damages after the 14 day window, Montana Fire Pits will not be liable for replacement.
Please inspect upon arrival even if installation will not take place immediately.
- We contract with LTL individual freight companies and as such, we ultimately have no control over the driver, scheduling and final drop-off. Our freight is established as “curbside delivery”. You will be responsible for the movement and placement of your fire table once it has been delivered.
Returns
- Customer is responsible for all return crating and freight fees, boxing, and shipping charges.
- Montana Fire Pits is not able to compensate for any installation fees or moving/relocation fees.
Burners, Plates, Fuel Components
- Custom Items: Non-returnable
- Standard items if Condition is Unused or Like-New: Returns accepted within 90 days of delivery
- Restocking Fee: 15%
- Order Cancellation Fee: 3.5% (if order has not yet shipped)
Fire Media, Rocks, Logs, Glass, Cannon Fireballs
- Condition is Unused: Returns accepted within 90 days of delivery
- Restocking Fee: 20%

Complete Fire Pit & RTF Systems
- Custom Items: Non-returnable
- Standard items if Condition is Unused: Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery and customer will be responsible for freight charges.

Platinum & Mercury Ignition Systems
- Residential Installations: 3 years from date of purchase.
- Commercial Installations: 1 year from date of purchase.
Push Button Ignition Systems: There is no warranty offered on any push button ignition system.

Warranties - Complete Systems
- Take GREAT CARE during installation and use a soft blanket or towel to protect the vessel during gas hook up.
- Damage incurred during shipping: You must call us to create a damage claim immediately.
- Montana Fire Pits does not warrant against chips, dings, scratches and scuffs during and after installation. If a blemish occurs in your possession, Montana Fire Pits will not be responsible for the repair of that damage.
- Montana Fire Pits encourages you to cover the entire table during inclement weather or seasonal changes.
Concrete Systems
- 12 Month Warranty from date of delivery.
- The warranty covers any defects in the craftsmanship and/or materials of the concrete vessel.
- Hairline cracks will appear in the finish of concrete over time. These cracks do not affect the functionality or structural integrity of the fire table and are not covered under warranty.
- To avoid scorching or discoloration, avoid burning on high in windy conditions for long periods of time.
- Fire media made of ceramic, concrete, or steel must be at least 6″ from the edges of the fire table. Media used incorrectly will void your warranty.
Steel Systems
- 12 month warranty for powder coating finish.
- 10 year warranty for fabrication and structure.
- Fire media made of ceramic, concrete, or steel must be at least 4″ from the edges of the fire table. Media used incorrectly will void your warranty.
- Our tables are all one-of-a-kind and designed to be durable for years to come outside in all climates.
- Montana Fire Pits cannot control how the steel weathers during use. MFP does not warrant the natural process of steel aging. If rust occurs, there are steps you can take to slow the process. We recommend periodically applying the Ceramic Powder Coat Protectant.
- There will be a 5% change order fee of the order total if requested after 1 week from the purchase date.
- We are unable to hold on to orders at our warehouse. Please plan accordingly as there will be a $25/day storage fee assessed beyond one week of the intended ship date.
Freight and Delivery

Installation
MFP will not incur any expense as it relates to transport, movement, handling, plumbing or installation of any fire feature. The owner is responsible for any and all installation once it is in your possession.
All fire features must be installed by a licensed and insured gas professional. MFP will not warrant or be responsible for anything pertaining to installation.
MFP does NOT warrant against any explosions as we do not provide ANY installation services. Installation, gas and electric connections must be provided by a licensed and insured gas professional. Connections made by non-qualified individuals will not be honored in any way. The Crossfire Brass Burner is a certified gas appliance and we use industry standard components and parts.
MFP does not warrant against damage caused by improper ventilation. Our venture steel fire tables are provided with leveling feet which are to be used to create ventilation around the entire base perimeter of up to 2” of clear space.
Refunds, Exchanges and Returns
MFP stands by our product and craftsmanship. Should a situation arise, we will do the best we can to identify the issue and solve it reasonably.

Montana Fire Pits owns or controls this Site and the content of this Site is protected by worldwide copyright laws. Content from this Site may not be used or downloaded for commercial use or purposes. You may not frame or use framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of Montana Fire Pits without express written consent. Montana Fire Pits reserves all rights not expressly described in these Terms.
These Terms create a legally binding agreement between you and Montana Fire Pits. You agree that by accessing the Site or purchasing something from us, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Terms including but not limited to those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced in this agreement or available by hyperlink (more particularly the return policy, warranty, freight and delivery, installation, and privacy policy). These Terms apply to all users of the Site including but not limited to users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, or contributors of content.
If you do not agree to the Terms, then you may not access the Site or use any other service related to or provided by Montana Fire Pits including but not limited to purchasing or using products manufactured or sold by Montana Fire Pits (“Service”). If these Terms are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms.
Any new features or tools that are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms. You can review the most current version of the Terms at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates or changes to our website. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date of these Terms, and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
SECTION 1 – ONLINE STORE
The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Site.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.
We reserve the right but are not obligated to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this Site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
Montana Fire Pits sells separate components for gas fire features designed to be assembled and installed professionally. We have no “plug and play” options and our “complete” systems do require assembly of various components by a qualified and licensed gas professional. We do our best with our manufacturing partners to design systems that require minimal customization on-site, however, due to variations of each fire feature in each environment, some customization may be required. Please plan accordingly.
SECTION 6 – ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, or orders that use the same billing or shipping address. If we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail, billing address, or phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.
We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Bread Financing.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You further agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, credit card numbers, and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
Sales tax will be added to the price of purchases as deemed required by us. We may change prices at any time. All payments shall be in U.S. dollars.
You agree to pay all charges at the prices then in effect for your purchases and any applicable shipping fees, and you authorize us to charge your chosen payment provider for any such amounts upon placing your order.
If your order is subject to recurring charges, then you consent to our charging your payment method on a recurring basis without requiring your prior approval for each recurring charge, until you cancel the applicable order. We reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes in pricing, even if we have already requested or received payment.

Notwithstanding the provisions above, we reserve the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate, at your expense, with our defense of such claims.
