Most outdoor fire features fall into one of two categories: a stamped-steel pit out of a catalog, or a fully custom build commissioned from a fabricator. The RTF Kit sits in a third category.
The structural and mechanical work is done in our shop. The exterior finish is done in the field, in whatever veneer the project calls for. You supply the stone, brick, tile, or stucco. We supply everything else.
What’s in the Kit
The frame is welded aluminum, gusseted for rigidity, light enough to move around the patio during install, and corrosion-resistant for outdoor life. Adjustable feet handle uneven surfaces and create natural ventilation underneath, which means cut-in vent holes are optional. Two silver vents are included if you want them anyway.
Inside the frame sits a Warming Trends Crossfire brass burner. The Crossfire is a port-style burner that runs a fuller, taller flame than the standard pan-burner setups, and the brass body holds up to outdoor exposure over decades. We’re an authorized Warming Trends dealer. Electronic ignition is available across the RTF series.
The aluminum pan has 3-inch sidewalls, with 1.5 inches of the pan sitting above the top of the GoBoard. That gap leaves 1.5 inches of working room for your cap material. Set your stone or tile flush with the pan and the top reads as a single clean plane.

The GoBoard Substrate

The GoBoard is an optional add-on, and worth understanding before you order. It’s precision-mounted to the frame and gives tile, stone, or other finish materials a flat surface to adhere to. For any curved or round elements, the board is CNC-scored so it bends in a single piece. No field-cutting and seaming.
GoBoard is waterproof and lightweight. The exterior of a gas fire table doesn’t reach the temperatures that would require a fire-rated substrate, so GoBoard handles the job without the cost or weight of overbuilding.
Every Component, in the Box
Each kit ships with:
- Welded aluminum frame, gusseted
- Adjustable feet (built-in ventilation option)
- Warming Trends Crossfire brass burner
- Aluminum pan
- Flexible gas line kit with key valve
- Two silver vents
- Key valve extension
- Key valve mounting bracket
- Optional GoBoard, CNC-scored and precision-mounted
The fabrication math is solved. Burner sizing, pan geometry, frame dimensions, ignition, all of it. The decisions left to you are about the finish.
The Veneer Is Yours

The RTF accepts most exterior veneer materials: natural stone, stacked ledger, brick, porcelain tile, stucco, concrete board, whatever the surrounding hardscape uses.
That last part is the design logic. When the table’s exterior is the same material as the patio or pool deck it sits on, the fire feature reads as part of the architecture. The table integrates with the space because it’s finished in the space’s own material.
